Drawing on its reputation for providing deep industry experience and leading consulting services to the wealth and asset management industry, EY is further expanding its WAM Business Transformation practice. We’re looking for exceptional Managers, with proven Change and Transformation experience and a strong knowledge of the Wealth and Asset Management Industry to join us on our growth journey and help us build a better working world for our clients, colleagues and society at large.
The opportunity involves working closely with some of the most recognisable names in the Wealth and Asset Management industry, providing strategic advice and expertise to support our clients. You’ll be helping to make change decisions across areas such as digital transformation, customer experience, growth and scalability, target operating model, strategic cost transformation and operational efficiency; then you’ll be helping to manage the implementation of that transformation.
Your key responsibilities include delivering a diverse range of client assignments, often managing diverse, multi-disciplined EY project teams or workstreams and building EY solutions and methods. You’ll also be identifying opportunities for new business and supporting bid teams with proposals whilst developing strong trusted advisor relationships with our clients. Additionally, you’ll be supporting EY practice and people development through activities such as recruitment, mentoring and counsellor programmes.
We’re looking for Managers who can demonstrate strong delivery leadership skills in change and transformation projects within the Wealth and Asset Management marketplace. You will have an ability to develop and deliver high-quality output against project objectives and meet tight deadlines. Aligned with these technical skills, you’ll have a structured approach to critical problem solving alongside communication skills and the ability to present ideas and findings clearly and concisely to a wide range of stakeholders. You should also have the ability to learn new subject matter rapidly and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the trends and challenges shaping the Wealth & Asset Management industry.
To qualify for the role, you must have a successful track record in the Wealth, Asset or Investment Management industry, gained through experience working at a Wealth/Asset Manager, a top tier consultancy (Big 4, IBM, Accenture, or strategy firm), a specialist financial services consultancy, or a Wealth/Asset Management technology or service provider. A strong understanding of the asset and/or wealth management across a range of client segments, offerings, and businesses is essential, along with a good appreciation of current market trends in the Wealth & Asset Management industry. Experience of developing sales collateral such as proposal responses and demonstrated ability for self-management are also required.
Ideally, you’ll also have industry recognised business, finance, IT or project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE 2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, BPR, CIMA or CFA. A good understanding of one or more of the following: Buy-Side front and middle office, risk, compliance, advice and financial planning, Operations, Alternatives or Asset Servicing, as well as the end-to-end process flows and functional areas of Wealth & Asset Management participants is preferred.
As a valued member of the team, we’re looking for managers that are keen, dynamic and flexible – who enjoy a variety of challenges and who offer different experiences and diverse insights. You’ll be a trusted business advisor to our clients, specialising within Business Transformation, so they’ll look to you to ask and answer the questions nobody else has asked yet and then develop and execute an effective solution.
If you’re ready to take on a wide range of responsibilities and are committed to build a better working world by helping organisations deliver most effectively and efficiently, whilst simultaneously gaining skills to develop a career in professional services, this role is for you.
We offer a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance. Our comprehensive Total Rewards package includes support for flexible working and career development, and with FlexEY you can select benefits that suit your needs, covering holidays, health and well-being, insurance, savings and a wide range of discounts, offers and promotions.
Plus, we offer:
- Continuous learning: You’ll develop the mindset and skills to navigate whatever comes next.

- Transformative leadership: We’ll give you the insights, coaching and confidence to be the leader the world needs.
