Manager - Microsoft – AI Business Transformation – TC
The opportunity
This is a hands‑on delivery role.
You will help financial services clients turn AI ideas into real, working solutions.
You will take opportunities that have already been shaped and sold, and turn them into practical results.
You will spend most of your time close to the work — running workshops, shaping designs, building and testing solutions, and helping people actually use them.
Much of what you build will use Microsoft platforms, especially Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Cowork and Autopilot.
You should be comfortable connecting business needs to the right Microsoft tools, working alongside technical architects, and explaining your choices in plain language to business stakeholders.
A key part of the role is working well with Microsoft's own teams — the Account team, the Specialist Team Unit (STU) sellers and Global Black Belt (GBB) specialists — to shape joint solutions and speed up delivery.
Help clients move from AI ambition to working solutions that deliver measurable value.
Build a strong working relationship with Microsoft and help grow joint (co-sell and co-build) opportunities through the alliance.
- Your key responsibilities
- Design and discovery
- Lead discovery and design: interviews, workshops, process reviews, simple data analysis and opportunity assessment.
- Write clear problem statements, design principles, future‑state journeys, process maps and role / operating‑model impacts.
- Identify and prioritise AI use cases based on value, feasibility, risk, complexity and readiness.
- Build simple business cases that show expected impact across financial, customer, operational and risk outcomes.
- Create roadmaps, MVP scope, sequencing, delivery plans and adoption approaches.
- Work with AI, data and technology specialists to make sure ideas are technically doable and fit the client's architecture, data and control rules.
- Spot where Microsoft tools can speed up delivery — Microsoft 365 Copilot for the everyday AI interface, Copilot Studio for custom agents, Cowork and Autopilot for autonomous workflow, Power Platform for automation and apps, Azure AI for enterprise AI, and Microsoft Purview and Entra ID for governance and secure access.
- Build, pilot and scale
- Lead workstreams that move designs into build, pilot and scale.
- Design, build and test custom Copilot Studio agents, Cowork, Autopilots and Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse).
- Coordinate business, technology, data, risk and change work so delivery stays on track.
- Build prototypes, proofs of concept and pilots, then scale what works.
- Make sure requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, controls, testing and adoption plans are clear.
- Manage risks, dependencies, issues, scope changes and stakeholder expectations.
- Keep the team focused on measurable business outcomes and track the benefits.
- Working with Microsoft
- Build strong day‑to‑day relationships with the Microsoft Account team, STU specialist sellers and GBB specialists.
- Bring Microsoft in early during design to check platform fit, find co‑sell opportunities and agree where co‑build support can reduce delivery risk.
- Align solutions to Microsoft's priority workloads and reference architectures.
- Use STU and GBB specialists during build to get expert platform input, validate technical choices and unblock issues.
- Contribute to joint account planning, co‑sell stories, client briefings and solution showcases.
- Team and client leadership
- Be a trusted day‑to‑day delivery lead for client stakeholders.
- Prepare and present materials for steering groups, design authorities and decision forums.
- Lead small teams of consultants, analysts, designers and specialists.
- Coach junior colleagues and set a high standard for quality.
- Manage engagement budget, quality, scope, risks and timelines.
Support proposals, pitches and follow‑on work.
