In this team, you will gain wide‑ranging experience in all core deal‑cycle areas—tax structuring, buy‑ and sell‑side due diligence, fund flows, SPA reviews and refinancings. As deal advisers you’ll develop UK tax technical expertise, commercial insight into client priorities, and exposure to international structuring techniques and overseas tax regimes.

We’re expanding our Corporate M&A tax team and are keen to speak with experienced Tax Advisors and existing Managers. Prior M&A experience is not a pre‑requisite; a broad corporation tax background is acceptable.

  • Pursue business‑development opportunities.
  • Provide development support to junior members through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring.

  • Assume a significant role in team strategy and operations, managing junior staff development and assignments.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Technical and practical tax knowledge.
  • Client‑focused, strategically and commercially aware.
  • Strong client‑relationship management skills with the ability to deliver quality outputs.

  • Business‑development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
  • Effective time‑management, able to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and oral situations.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • ACA / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification or equivalent breadth of knowledge.
  • Strong tax technical and project‑delivery skills.
  • Business‑development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
  • Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
  • Knowledge of M&A tax elements helpful but not required.

What we offer
