Manager, Business Analyst, General Insurance Technology, FS

The opportunity

As part of the EY Insurance Technology practice, you will work across a portfolio of engagements involving Insurance Core Technology implementations, Blockchain technology, Mobile & Portals, and Cloud Capabilities. Our focus in EMEIA spans multiple European countries, with ongoing growth and a 30% annual team expansion. You will be part of an engagement team driving business transformation. We seek enthusiastic individuals with an Agile mindset, industry knowledge in Insurance and/or Management and Technology Consulting to strengthen our capabilities and support growth.

Your key responsibilities

• Managing and leading project teams within larger projects;
• Leading Scrum teams/workstreams in large, cross-country agile technology programs;
• Managing end-to-end project delivery within financial and time constraints;
• Ensuring high client satisfaction through quality delivery;
• Applying knowledge in market areas such as Policy, Billing, and Claims in General Insurance or Life Insurance;
• Building trusted advisor relationships with clients;
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities;
• Supporting development of EY solutions and tools;
• Participating in practice and staff development activities.

Skills and attributes for success

• Solution architecture; large-scale program delivery (agile and waterfall);
• Implementation of technology packages (Guidewire, Fadata, Duckcreek, etc.);
• IT Strategy leadership and team development;

To qualify for the role you must have

• Experience with Target Operating Models, Process Automation, BPM, Digital Platforms, Pega, Mobile, Portals;
• Experience in Insurance through top-tier consultancy or insurer;
• Experience in large technology implementations, requirements gathering, and process definition;
• Successful delivery track record from requirements to go-live.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of market trends and industry impact;
• Technical requirements development, software engineering methodologies, reporting, modeling, testing;
