Our Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) team sits at the heart of EY’s Financial Services Tax practice, helping banks, insurers and asset managers reinvent how their tax and finance functions operate through data, automation and artificial intelligence.

As a Senior, you will be hands‑on – building the data and AI solutions, including generative and agentic AI, that modernise our clients’ tax compliance, reporting and advisory – while growing your technical and client skills.

  • Your key responsibilities
  • Build and deliver AI and data solutions for financial services tax clients – developing data pipelines, models, automations and generative AI use cases under the direction of Managers.
  • Analyse, cleanse and transform complex, often unstructured tax datasets into well‑structured, AI‑ready data.
  • Contribute to solution design, testing, documentation and quality assurance to make sure our output is accurate, robust and high quality.
  • Engage directly with client teams and EY colleagues, building relationships and communicating your findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Supervise and support analysts and interns, sharing knowledge and reviewing their work.
  • Stay current with developments in AI, data engineering and tax technology, continually developing your own skills.

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

  • Some experience (typically two to five years) delivering data, analytics or AI work, with a strong interest in tax, technology and transformation.
  • Solid hands‑on technical skills – for example SQL and Python, data manipulation and engineering, and exposure to generative AI/LLM tools, machine learning or analytics platforms such as Power BI or Alteryx.
  • Experience with using low‑code applications such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, high‑quality work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a fast‑changing AI and data environment.
  • A degree in a numerate, computing, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Exposure to tax data, or to enterprise tax and data technology (the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric or cloud data services).
  • Experience of working in an agile delivery environment, or relevant cloud, data or AI certifications.
