The opportunity at EY-Parthenon involves a unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance that delivers real-world value. The Strategy and Execution (S&E) team provides Technology & Operations advice to corporate and private equity firms intending to acquire, divest or restructure businesses to improve their value.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conducting operational and technical due diligence.
- Managing post-deal integration and separation processes.
- Preparing pitches and presentations, and attending client meetings to help secure engagements.
- Working in a transaction environment under tight M&A timeframes.
- Leveraging prior technology sector knowledge on projects across operational and technical due diligence, technology transformation and AI.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Proven experience in TMT-focused roles, especially in digital infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of latest industry trends such as fibre network architecture, data centre design, OSS/BSS transformations, agentic AI, GPUaaS.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data related to technology transactions.
- Experience managing blended project teams and leading meetings with senior client stakeholders.
- Ability to drive innovation and transformational change within companies.
- Support development of junior team members, coupled with recruitment and training responsibilities.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Proven experience communicating with clarity and impact to senior stakeholders.
- Strong written skills and experience producing high calibre reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership.
- A track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses.
- A broad range of technology knowledge including infrastructure, applications, databases and networks.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience in building strong working relationships with senior clients.
- Professional services / consulting experience within Transactions.
- Experience in designing, implementing or deploying technology solutions.
- Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience supporting sales and business development processes.
