The Opportunity: We are looking for talented Managers to join our People Experience team as part of our UK Financial Services People Consulting team. Our People Experience team provides solutions across Change management & communications, Culture & ways of working, Digital people experience and Future HR.
Overview Of The Role: As a manager in our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of transformative projects for our clients, taking an employee-centric approach to delivery. You’ll work within a team to deliver innovative and insightful solutions, showcasing best-practice insights to support successful client delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day project delivery across transformation projects by bringing solid project management capability and driving delivery discipline.
- Take ownership for project management activities such as workstream/project planning, risk management and reporting.
- Manage and uphold client relationships, instilling trust.
- Manage delivery team, supporting effective teaming and upskilling more junior members of staff through on-the-job training, coaching and feedback.
- Oversee and manage development of reports/deliverables to ensure successful delivery of engagement.
- Proactively raise risks and issues with leadership. Work with project team to develop mitigation plans.
- Contribute to go-to-market activities by managing proposal development, supporting leadership in pitch preparation, and undertaking critical engagement management activities.
- Contribute to generating revenue by identifying and communicating additional engagement opportunities across existing client engagements.
- Develop a good understanding of EY solution offerings across the firm and start building a personal network to bring the best of EY to our clients.
Skills And Attributes For Success:
- Experience managing workstreams or projects – including preparing delivery plans in line with agreed scope, managing delivery teams, preparing and reviewing deliverables, validating and presenting deliverables to clients, and managing any risks.
- Experience supporting effective change management delivery across the lifecycle of a project i.e. from design to implementation.
- Experience supporting compelling communication and engagement delivery across the lifecycle of a project i.e. from design to implementation.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching more junior team members.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Relevant professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy, or an internal change management / transformation role in which you had accountability to deliver change programmes.
- Experience working within both small and large multi-disciplinary teams to deliver functional and enterprise-wide transformation engagements.
- Experience of delivering change / communications projects across the Financial Services Sector is preferred.
- Relevant degree-level education and/or professional qualifications.
- Ability to travel (primarily within UK, if client requires).
- Right to work in the UK.
