As the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function, we collaborate with the business to deliver innovative, audience‑centric brand, marketing and communications. Our team is an integrated global network of over 2,500 professionals with skills in content development, editorial, webcast creation, events staging, strategy, and operations.

The opportunity

Our go-to-market approach offers a holistic EY experience to our clients, tailored through a sector‑specific perspective. We address client issues with precision, leveraging sector expertise to deliver impactful solutions and supercharge accounts. Our six Global BMC Industry teams (Consumer & Health, Financial Services, Government & Infrastructure, Industrials & Energy, Private Equity, and Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications) are the driving forces behind EY's sector approach.

Government & Infrastructure is one of EY’s most strategically important Industry Markets, bringing together the firm’s deep government, public sector and infrastructure capabilities to address some of the most urgent challenges facing clients around the world. Governments and infrastructure owners are operating in an environment shaped by permanent volatility, rising citizen expectations, constrained public finances, geopolitical uncertainty, climate transition and rapid technological change. Against this backdrop, G&I has a critical role to play in helping clients build resilient institutions, deliver lasting public value and create the infrastructure needed for sustainable economic growth.

The recent stand‑up of the Infrastructure sector strengthens this market position further, creating a clearer platform to align client focus, expertise and communities across EY. Infrastructure now sits as a growth engine and enabler across public and private sectors, with a focus on resilient, secure and technology‑enabled delivery. It complements the Government & Public Sector business by supporting priorities such as defence, transport, public services, energy transition, economic development and investment in public‑private partnerships.

With two of the firm’s joint ventures — Defence and Infrastructure — sitting within the Industry Market, G&I is uniquely positioned to connect the full breadth of EY capabilities around sovereign resilience, national security, critical infrastructure, public finance, digital transformation and delivery certainty. This structure creates a powerful platform for cross‑border collaboration, bringing together sector expertise, service line capabilities and ecosystem relationships to help clients respond to complex challenges at scale.

The BMC team plays a critical role in enabling the ambitions of the Government & Infrastructure business. Working closely with G&I leadership, regions, sectors and service lines, the team helps build a cohesive and structured go‑to‑market approach that elevates EY’s experts, expertise, solutions and services in the market. This includes developing flagship campaigns, thought leadership and leadership profiling that support priority growth areas across Government & Public Sector & Infrastructure and Defence, while ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and aligned to the issues that matter most to clients.

As the Global Government & Infrastructure BMC Lead, you will oversee the strategic programmes, campaigns and thought leadership that build the EY brand across G&I and raise the market profile of senior leaders. The role will help connect the business around a common narrative, strengthen regional activation, support priority account engagement and create the assets, insights and communications needed to win in the market. In doing so, BMC will help position EY as a trusted adviser to governments, infrastructure owners and public‑sector ecosystems as they transform services, strengthen resilience and deliver better outcomes for society.
