We’re excited to offer a senior leadership position within our International Transaction Tax Service (ITTS) Practice focusing on the RHC offering. You will advise large multinational corporations on their international tax planning and M&A deals, working alongside leading partners and a high‑performing team.

The combination of experience and innovation makes our team an exciting place to work. You’ll have the chance to develop into a skilled and renowned international tax adviser, working with UK and overseas MNCs, lawyers and banks on complex projects.

Client projects include:

  • Expansion into new markets
  • Pre‑transaction reorganisations and post‑transaction integration
  • Legal structure rationalisation
  • Operating model redesign
  • Optimisation of capital structure and financing
  • Optimisation of intellectual property ownership and reliefs
  • Managing risk from global law changes such as BEPS
  • Lobbying and negotiation with tax authorities in the UK and globally

Your key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, winning work proactively and contributing to new client acquisition.
  • Manage the delivery of technically complex projects, ensuring technical excellence and a business‑focused approach.
  • Ensure quality of client service.
  • Follow up on leads from other areas of the practice.
  • Build networks and relationships internally and externally for the team.
  • Develop junior staff through supervision, coaching and mentoring.
  • Provide significant involvement in team strategy, operations and staff development.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA, Tax Inspector with full technical training, or law qualification.
  • Degree‑qualified.
  • Experienced corporate tax practitioner.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statutes.
  • Experience in a client‑facing role in UK tax or similar jurisdiction.
  • Experience in the real estate sector.
  • Project management skills: plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, monitor own budget.
