We have an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Transaction Tax (CTT) team, working within our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice, for individuals with Restructuring Tax experience and/or enthusiasm to develop their skills/specialism in Restructuring and to develop the team.
Within the CTT team, we are keen to speak with Tax Directors and Senior Managers with Restructuring tax experience and/or enthusiasm to develop technical skills and specialism in restructuring and insolvency.
Your key responsibilities
- Developing a close working relationship with the FR practice to be first point‑of‑contact on tax matters.
- Developing a role within the broader Tax practice to become a go‑to contact for Restructuring‑related expertise.
- Providing tax input into:
- Corporate reorganisations
- Business reviews & contingency plans planning
- Accelerated M&A processes
- Legal entity rationalisation projects
- Insolvency appointments and processes including Schemes of Arrangements and Restructuring Plans
The role can be based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, with hybrid working and flexibility supported.
Skills and attributes for success
- ACA/ATT/CTA or international equivalent/Law qualification
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in M&A tax and/or Restructuring tax
- A client‑focused mindset with the ability to deliver high‑quality outputs in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Commercial awareness and experience identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
- Proven experience coaching and developing junior team members
