Join a high-performing, purpose-driven pensions team at EY. We’re looking for a delivery-focused pensions professional with strong Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) experience to help shape and manage the governance, compliance, and operational strategy of EY’s pension arrangements across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
What you’ll be doing
As a key member of our in-house pensions team, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the effective governance and regulatory compliance of EY’s pension schemes. You’ll work closely with the Head of Pensions, the Trustee Board, and a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Secretary to the Trustee in the governance and operations of the legacy DB scheme.
- Managing day-to-day operations of EY’s UK and ROI staff DC pension arrangements.
- Overseeing EY’s Life Assurance benefits, including annual renewals, market reviews, and claims processes.
- Acting as Risk Officer to the Trustee, maintaining the risk management framework, Risk Register, and business continuity protocols.
- Leading on regulatory and legislative compliance for both EY as sponsor and the Trustee, working closely with EY’s Quality & Risk Management team and external advisers.
- Supporting budget planning and monitoring across the pensions function.
- Leading and delivering pensions-related projects and initiatives.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who combines technical pensions expertise with strong governance, risk, and stakeholder management skills. You’ll bring:
- Established experience in pensions, ideally from a consultancy or in-house environment.
- Deep knowledge of DB and DC schemes, including trust-based arrangements.
- Strong understanding of UK pensions legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience managing pensions governance, operations and change projects.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, delivery-focused approach.
