As a key member of our Global Blockchain Leadership team, you will lead a talented group of engineers, cryptographers, and strategists to develop innovative blockchain products. Your role involves defining research strategies, leading technical development, and shaping the future of blockchain technology at EY.
Essential Responsibilities
- Define and execute the blockchain R&D strategy to contribute to EY’s product portfolio.
- Manage and support the R&D team in developing privacy and scalability technologies.
- Lead thought leadership in blockchain and zero knowledge proof (ZKP) technologies.
- Collaborate with product teams to align technical roadmaps with business goals.
- Maintain awareness of industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with quality, risk, and independence standards.
- Set KPIs and drive team effectiveness and resource allocation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Deep expertise in ZKP mathematics, cryptography, and blockchain development, preferably with a PhD or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Rust programming and managing blockchain applications.
- Strong understanding of Ethereum, Solidity, and DeFi solutions.
- 10-15 years of relevant technical experience, including leadership in blockchain projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Additional Requirements
