The opportunity at EY offers the chance to build a career with global scale, support, inclusive culture, and technology to become the best version of yourself. We help Financial Services clients navigate complex, technology-enabled transformations. If you're excited by solving hard problems in a fast-moving environment, this is where your expertise makes a real impact.

Role purpose: Develop as a hybrid practitioner spanning product ownership, delivery, and architecture. Partner with Product Owners and Architects to convert business intent into clear stories, specs, and domain models that enable safe, high-quality implementation.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Backlog shaping: user stories, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and NFRs; maintain definition-of-ready/done.
  • Architecture support: contribute to domain models, interface specs, and API/event definitions; maintain requirements-to-build traceability.
  • Delivery hygiene: reporting, risks/decisions, demos, and release readiness; contribute to playbooks and templates.
  • Continuous learning across domain, product, and technical skills (DDD, data flows, integration basics).
  • Shape and deliver scalable, resilient, end-to-end solutions, ensuring designs are fully considered, robust, and aligned to agreed architectural standards.
  • Act as the conduit between business and technology functions; translate outcomes into clear design options and actionable plans.
  • Provide high-quality guidance and documentation to enable a rapid, secure path from design to build/run.
  • Contribute to business development: shape proposals, provide solution credibility in pursuits, and support mobilisation of wins.
  • Develop people and communities of practice; coach junior colleagues and embed reusable patterns, assets, and playbooks.

Skills required include strong analysis and documentation skills, comfort with Agile practices and tooling, and clear written/spoken communication. You should have the ability to collaborate across business, product, architecture, and engineering teams.

Ideally, you’ll also have exposure to domain modelling, API design basics, and event thinking, as well as familiarity with metrics (throughput, cycle time, defects) and OKRs. Success measures (KPIs) include story quality/throughput, first-time-right acceptance, requirements-to-build traceability, and reduction in defects/rework, along with positive stakeholder feedback and team contribution.

What we offer: A competitive rewards package, flexibility in how and where you work, coaching and feedback from engaged colleagues, and opportunities to develop new skills (including access to technology learning pathways).
