Director - Energy - International Tax (Open to Flexible Working) The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity to join our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice as a Director within our market-leading Energy team.
You will play a key leadership role in one of the firm's most strategically important sectors, advising some of the world's largest energy companies, infrastructure investors, and private equity funds on complex international tax matters, cross-border transactions and transformational projects.
The Energy sector is undergoing unprecedented change, with the energy transition creating significant opportunities across traditional energy, renewables, infrastructure and emerging technologies. As a Director, you will help clients navigate these challenges while driving growth and innovation within our Energy practice.
Working alongside highly regarded Partners and an exceptional team of international tax professionals, you will be responsible for shaping client relationships, originating new opportunities and delivering market-leading advice on some of the highest-profile transactions in the sector. Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand strategic relationships with key Energy sector clients, acting as a trusted adviser to senior management, tax directors, investment committees and wider stakeholder groups.
- Drive business development and revenue growth through originating, converting and delivering significant international tax and transaction opportunities.
- Develop and execute market initiatives that strengthen EY's position as a leading adviser within the Energy sector.
- Lead complex cross-border advisory engagements, ensuring technical excellence while maintaining a pragmatic and commercial approach.
- Collaborate across service lines, sectors and geographies to identify and deliver integrated solutions to clients.
