Early Careers Senior Advisor - Assessment & Selection Specialist
Level 2.5 Supervising Associate
15 Month Fixed Term Contract/ Secondment
Locations: London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow
Hybrid working: seasonally up to 40% of time spend travelling/ on campuses plus an anchor day in the office and running assessment days

The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the in-house recruitment team at EY, finding future talent that will enable EY to deliver our strategy. You will be part of the Assessment and Selection team, delivering a best-in-class assessment process. We are transforming the way we identify future talent. You will act as a strategic lead for our assessments, build meaningful relationships and offer an exceptional candidate experience at all stages. You will also work closely with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to execute and deliver the strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities:
The EY Early Careers team are responsible for attracting the best and most diverse candidates to the firm\'s school, work experience and graduate programmes across the UK. You will help plan and execute our assessments strategy and have key contributions to monitoring and improving EY assessment and selection methods. You will be involved in planning and monitoring end to end assessment process
Key Skills for Success:
• Demonstrates a passion for high volume assessment and selection methods for early talent programmes, continuous improvement, and best practice to deliver the best diverse quality candidates for student programmes at EY
• Has experience in Assessment Design (this may include Job Analysis, Psychometric item design, assessment centre materials)
• Delivers exceptional EY assessment centres, from design to operational delivery. You will look after this as a cross-team project as an SME and ensure that these high-volume, high-profile events are executed to a high standard ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
• Has a strong understanding of different assessment methods including skills-based hiring
• Strives to remain knowledgeable of technology and assessment options available in the market
• Demonstrates exceptional reporting and data analysis capabilities including threshold, pass rate, withdrawal rate and adverse impact analysis
• Demonstrates an understanding of diversity and inclusion in early careers recruitment, and assessment and selection practices that reduce bias and adverse impact in process
• Demonstrates project management capabilities and an ability to prioritise effectively
• Can evidence experience in multi-layered relationship building and being able to foster strong working partnerships with internal and external teams & suppliers
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring assessment vendors deliver work to a high-quality standard
• Works with Student Recruitment managers on key aspects of recruitment process, e.g. systems management, reporting, special projects which includes providing candidates with a best-in-class candidate experience
• Contributes to the achievement of early careers recruitment hiring targets across all programmes
Partnering with the Business:
• Comfortable communicating complex data insights to senior stakeholders.
• Builds a strong internal network for example with Talent Shared Services , Resourcing, Operations, HR and the business to remain abreast of key issues and events and to provide exceptional service and insight to business
To qualify for the role you must have:
• Master\'s or bachelor\'s degree in occupational psychology or equivalent
• Experience in Early Careers recruitment and/or assessment design and delivery
• Knowledge of core assessment and selection tools
• Willingness to coach and line manager team members
• Relevant early careers experience
• Highly organised with an eye for detail
• Confident excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc)
• Relationship building skills - with the ability to challenge senior management where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm
• A willingness to look beyond the task at hand and consider the broader picture
• Calm and objective when under pressure
• Ability to spend up to 40% of your time seasonally travelling/ on campuses
Ideally, you\'ll also have:
• Experience working in Assessment Consultancy or in-house roles
• Experience in line management is preferred but not required
• Project management experience
• Experience of either schools or university recruitment (ideally both)
• Proven track record of executing volume recruitment
• An understanding of Early ID programmes
