Programme Overview

Business Consulting can help to solve prevalent, complex challenges, as businesses seek to transform themselves in the digital age. Our teams reimagine and transform business models by creating growth, managing cost and efficiency, responding to market pressures and regulations and resolving operational challenges.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Working with a variety of clients from start-ups to recognisable brands and major government departments.
  • Listening to client problems and defining strategies and solutions.
  • Developing proposals and business cases for EY or our clients.
  • Researching and analysing trends in industries such as government, energy, life sciences, banking, media and technology.
  • Focusing on key drivers such as sustainability, innovation and customer experience.
  • Working flexibly either at home, in the office or on client site.
  • Gaining experience in supporting our clients with:
  • Supply chain planning with technology, including deployment of Source to Pay systems across partners (e.g. Ariba, Zycus, GEP)
  • Procurement strategy, category management, contract management and strategic sourcing
  • Driving cost out of third party spend e.g. via demand and supply planning, supply chain visibility, negotiating retrospective recovery from contracts
  • Defining end-to-end operating models including strategy, design, transformation and implementation
