We are looking to expand our Corporate M&A tax team. Previous M&A experience is not a prerequisite; a broad-based corporation tax background will be considered.
The opportunity In this team you will gain wide‑range experience in core deal cycle areas: tax structuring, sell‑side and buy‑side tax due diligence, funds flows, SPA reviews and refinancings. You will work on cross‑border transactions, gaining early exposure to international structuring and overseas tax regimes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Management of technically complex transaction tax projects ensuring technical excellence and business focus.
- Pursuit of business‑development opportunities.
- Provision of development support to junior members through coaching and mentoring.
- Contribution to people initiatives including retaining and training the team.
- Significant role in team strategy, operations and junior staff development.

To qualify for the role you must have ACA/Law qualification or a tax‑specialist qualification, or equivalent knowledge. Strong tax technical and project‑delivery skills. Business‑development skills to identify and convert opportunities. Experience in coaching and developing junior staff. Knowledge of M&A tax elements helpful but not required.
