The opportunity
BMC is on an exciting journey to create a world-class marketing function and achieve the highest strategic impact for EY.
EY is making significant investments in priority account activation and account development for key and global accounts to deliver an expectional and ideally personalized, user experience.
In this role, the senior associate will work with the Global BMC (i GTM) Marketing Excellence for Accounts Leader/s and managers to support on the strategic marketing plans to support the growth and development of these accounts.
They will assist in the delivery of agreed plans and help to ensure buy-in across the account, primarily with marketing stakeholders and account teams.
They will support the delivery of an account based marketing strategy to deliver on the agreed global Marketing Excellence for Accounts strategy and to align priorities based on the commercial opportunities for each account.
The successful candidate will be expected to work with highly sensitive and confidential information in their day-to-day work and will be able to seamlessly deal with unexpected or last‑minute requests, while executing more regular tasks and programs.
The role will require a solid understanding of BMC and the ability to manage the firm's matrix organization.
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and experience of delivering BMC programs throughout the client lifecycle is essential.
This role will help EY strengthen our position in the market, engage our biggest, global accounts and help shift perceptions about the depth and breadth of EY's capabilities.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play an important part in helping to operationalise the Global BMC Governance and strategic BMC activities for the largest global accounts.
You're likely to spend most of your time proactively connecting with colleagues across sectors, geographies and service lines.
You'll play a supporting role in recognising commercial opportunities, assisting with strategic initiatives in order to enable revenue growth.
To make that happen, you'll need to build a strong internal network, demonstrate a good understanding of the business and have the ability to engage with and influence colleagues to get key information out of them.
If you demonstrate the capability and willingness, then there is the option for you to work on accounts, or in some cases lead account marketing initiatives.
- You be a key part of delivering the Marketing Excellence for Accounts program, work collaboratively to shape the delivery of the go-to-market strategy and account focused marketing.
- You will build relationships across BMC, Markets, Insights and the accounts.
You will work closely with Super Regional and Industry BMC colleagues.
You will support the team in their engagements with Account teams, as well as their interactions with Business Development, Service Line and Growth Leaders.
- You will champion and lead with a client-first approach that builds EY's brand through audience-centric, issue-based BMC activities.
You are driven by a relentless desire to maximize EY's commercial opportunities, driving lead generation and conversion along the client lifecycle.
- You will help to drive the delivery of best practice content and channel strategies, playing a specific role in measuring the impact of these.
- Working across BMC you will explore commercial opportunities for the accounts.
This may include co‑developing marketing assets, content, strategic alliances, events and communications engaging both internal stakeholders and the external market.
- You take ownership of the measurement of commercial outcomes and opportunities.
You will regularly review performance metrics and deliver reports on Marketing Excellence for Accounts performance, managing this yourself and proactively reaching out to the team to assist them

- Experience in marketing, communications or business development, ideally in a B2B environment
- Experience of B2B demand generation or Account-based marketing role
- Experience of project management/program execution
- Solid knowledge of marketing channels and experience in application, to leverage the most appropriate channels to achieve business goals.
- Self-awareness and results oriented. Unafraid to take initiative.
- Experience working in a cross-border environment (ideal but not essential)
- The potential to influence and build collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
