We have an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Tax team in Aberdeen. Our work is a combination of both tax advisory and compliance, including tax advice in respect of matters such as M&A structuring, exit planning, group re‐organisations, expansion into overseas territories and much more. Our Aberdeen office is a successful and growing one with an impressive client portfolio, predominantly working in the energy sector.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients and ensuring in your role as their day to day contact that they have access to the breadth of tax services available to them at EY.
The opportunity involves continuing to grow and build out our team and we are keen to speak with experienced Tax Seniors with a focus/background in Corporate Tax, who have a proven track record of building trusted relationships with clients and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. EY is investing significantly in the Mid‐market team and we are looking for the right individual to help contribute to our growth ambition of the tax business, and the office at this exciting time for the city and region.
As a tax advisor working in EY's Aberdeen office you will provide a full range of corporate tax services. You will be working within client service teams on a day‐to‐day basis and will broaden your experience of different business tax areas to help our clients through the challenges of tax planning, tax compliance and reporting obligations and to provide support on transactions. This role offers broad experience with exposure to senior stakeholders and a varied portfolio providing development opportunities.

- Contribute to efficient and successful delivery of corporate tax services ensuring technical excellence.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Get involved by supporting senior managers and partners to win new work.

To qualify for the role you must have:
- Qualifications: ATT/ACA/CA/CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA).
- Background in corporate tax, with some tax advisory experience helpful but not essential.
- Strong technical skills and a desire to develop further.
