Your Key Responsibilities
- Project manage the delivery of a caseload of R&D claims for a range of businesses, from small to very large and complex.
- Conduct detailed technical discussions with clients to explain the meaning of R&D for tax purposes and help them understand which elements of their work meet the criteria.
- Prepare and review technical documents that explain the R&D activities undertaken on client projects based on gathered information.
- Provide coaching and training to junior team members.
- Participate in business development, identifying and winning new opportunities.
- Assist in engaging with HMRC to resolve R&D questions.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Previous R&D experience.
- IT industry experience, specifically as a software developer or engineer.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving claim preparation methods.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in public speaking.
