About EY Sales Transformation

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager to join our Sales Transformation Practice within EY Studio+. In this role, you will work closely with client business teams across the end-to-end lead-to-cash lifecycle, helping organisations reimagine their sales strategy, operating model, processes, and technology to accelerate revenue growth and improve sales efficiency. As part of our Sales Transformation team, you will apply your expertise across lead-to-order processes and broader commercial operations to deliver complex, high-impact client engagements.

You will work at the intersection of strategy and execution, helping clients define customer segmentation, optimise sales coverage models, and design future-ready sales processes that enable successful technology implementation. You will operate across a dynamic mix of transformation programmes, working with senior stakeholders to solve some of their most pressing growth and performance challenges. From shaping the future vision of sales to driving its practical delivery, you will play a key role in designing and implementing next-generation sales capabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to not only imagine the future of sales, but to build it, delivering measurable impact for clients and shaping how organisations grow in an increasingly digital and data-driven world.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager in the Sales Transformation Practice within EY Studio+, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping, delivering, and scaling sales transformation programmes for some of the most complex organisations. You will work with senior client stakeholders across the end-to-end lead-to-cash lifecycle to define commercial strategy, redesign sales operating models, and implement next-generation sales capabilities that drive sustainable revenue growth and competitive advantage.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, take ownership of large, high-value transformation programmes, and act as a trusted advisor to client executives. From defining customer segmentation and go-to-market strategies through to enabling technology-driven sales processes, you will ensure that vision is translated into tangible outcomes. You will also play a critical role in growing the practice, contributing to business development, shaping propositions, and strengthening our market presence.

This is a role for an individual who combines strategic clarity with hands-on delivery leadership, someone who can influence, challenge, and inspire at the most senior levels while driving delivery with pace and precision. You will be accountable for delivering measurable client impact, building high-performing teams, and embedding lasting change that enables organisations to transform how they sell and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership & Delivery
    • Lead large, complex transformation programmes: Own the delivery of multi-workstream sales transformation initiatives across the end-to-end lead-to-cash lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client strategy and EY quality standards.
    • Act as a senior client advisor: Build and own C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships, shaping the transformation agenda and defining measurable commercial outcomes.
    • Drive strategic sales transformation: Define and lead sales strategies, operating models, and go-to-market approaches.
    • Challenge and influence senior stakeholders: Use data, insight, and storytelling to challenge assumptions, reframe problems, and drive alignment on key commercial decisions.
    • Oversee end-to-end delivery: Ensure effective programme governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication across complex engagements.
    • Drive value realisation: Ensure transformation delivers measurable improvements in pipeline, productivity, and revenue.
  • Team Leadership & People Development
    • Build and lead high-performing teams: Lead multidisciplinary teams across strategy, sales, data, and technology, fostering collaboration and delivery excellence.
    • Develop future leaders: Coach and mentor Managers and Senior Consultants, building capability in sales transformation, leadership, and client delivery.
    • Create an inclusive, high-performance culture: Foster an environment that values diverse perspectives, encourages innovation, and supports continuous development.
    • Shape talent strategy: Oversee resourcing across programmes and contribute to hiring, development, and promotion decisions within the Sales Transformation practice.
  • Practice & Proposition Growth
    • Shape the Sales Transformation proposition: Define and evolve EY Studio+ sales transformation offerings, methods, and assets across strategy, process, and technology domains.
    • Lead business development and go-to-market: Originate and lead sales opportunities, develop proposals, and contribute to achieving revenue targets and practice growth.
    • Build market presence: Act as an ambassador for EY Studio+, representing the practice through client engagements, thought leadership, and industry events.
    • Identify and translate market trends: Stay ahead of developments in sales operating models, AI, customer engagement, and commercial technology, translating these into client opportunities and new offerings.
  • Commercial & Operational Accountability
    • Own commercial delivery: Manage large programme budgets (£500k–£5m+), ensuring profitability, scope control, and delivery of client value.
    • Own practice financial performance: Drive pipeline growth, forecasting accuracy, and revenue outcomes.
    • Embed delivery excellence: Establish and scale consistent ways of working, governance, and delivery frameworks across engagements.
    • Ensure quality and compliance: Maintain EY standards across risk management, client delivery, and internal governance.
