Senior Consultant, Supply Chain and Operations – Procurement

- Deliver high‑value complex strategic sourcing projects and support the selection and onboarding of suppliers for critical projects.
- Engage with business stakeholders and suppliers to shape category strategies that meet organisational needs and leverage industry best practice.
- Conduct assessments on third‑party spend using analytics tools, identify cost‑reduction opportunities and help clients improve spend‑management processes.
- Help clients navigate supplier performance issues, implementing leading‑practice contract and supplier‑management capabilities.
- Review current procurement operating models and implement improvements.
- Provide procurement training to client teams to enhance technical and soft‑skill capabilities.
- Support the implementation of procurement technology, including Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead a workstream within a project, completing analysis, engaging with clients, and taking responsibility for deliverables.
- Apply problem‑solving skills to deliver high‑quality work for clients and project teams.
- Build, maintain and strengthen client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor across procurement and wider business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues globally to achieve the best outcomes.
- Help develop and deliver internal procurement training programmes, building team capabilities.
- Shape internal procurement practices and methodology through research and analysis.
- Contribute to proposal development to showcase leading practices.
Your Experience
Typically, Senior Consultants bring practical experience from a consulting or industry background with proven procurement expertise. While consulting experience is not essential, you should have delivered business change for your organisation.
- Experience within procurement.
- Ability to write to a high standard.
- Track record of operating in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from diverse data sources.
- Proficient in working with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams.
Qualifications
Many Senior Consultants have or are working towards professional body memberships such as CIPS, IACCM, or equivalent. If you have skills that would add value to our team, please apply.
