The opportunity

Join EY’s Global Grants Credits & Incentives team as a Senior Science/Engineering Consultant. You will work with a variety of clients, from owner‑managed businesses to multinational groups, helping them identify and claim R&D tax relief. As part of a diverse team you will lead interviews with senior technical personnel, write and review technical project reports, and support business development opportunities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with project team members and clients.
  • Write and review technical project reports that support R&D tax claims.
  • Lead interactions with clients' senior technical staff to understand projects and identify qualifying R&D activities.
  • Apply advanced problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to project execution.
  • Maintain client relationships to deliver high‑quality service.
  • Ensure delivery of advice and solutions that manage risk and protect reputation.
  • Adapt and expand knowledge across sectors and core capabilities.
