We are looking to expand our Corporate M&A tax team and are keen to speak with experienced Tax Advisors and existing Managers. Previous M&A experience is not a pre‑requisite for this role – candidates with a broad‑based corporation tax background will also be considered.
Key responsibilities
- Management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding transaction tax projects for clients, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business focus.
- Pursuit of business development opportunities.
- Provision of development support to junior members of the team through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring.
- Contribution to people initiatives, including retaining and training the team.
- Significant role in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and also through managing junior staff development and assignments.

- M&A tax experience or UK/international tax advisory experience.
Qualifications
- ACA / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification.
- Strong tax technical and project delivery skills.
- Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
- Experience of coaching and developing more junior staff.
- Knowledge of the tax elements of Mergers & Acquisitions helpful but not a pre‑requisite for the role.
