Our Private Tax team works with a broad range of entrepreneurial, owner‑managed, PE‑backed, and AIM‑listed businesses, as well as their shareholders, family offices, ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, private equity clients, and professional partnerships. This role is offered on a hybrid working basis.
Your key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Drive business development and identify new opportunities
- Manage the delivery of complex and demanding compliance and tax advisory projects
- Ensure technical excellence and a practical, business‑driven approach
- Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to team initiatives, including training, retention, and development
Skills and attributes for success
What we look for
- Proven relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confident negotiator, able to articulate and defend opinions effectively
- Demonstrated business development experience
- Strong time management and ability to perform under pressure
- Project management skills with a focus on delivery and budget control
- Excellent tax technical expertise where you will oversee the preparation and review of complex tax compliance workstreams, providing technical guidance and ensuring quality across all deliverables
- Experience advising a range of Funds clients
- ACA/CTA qualification (with full technical training) or equivalent tax specialist qualification
- CCH or similar experience
