We are looking for an outstanding Senior Manager – Databricks AI & Data Client Solution Lead to help scale our Databricks-led AI and Data business. This role is for someone who can be deployed directly with clients to identify business challenges, shape Databricks-based solutions and lead teams to deliver production-grade data, analytics, AI and GenAI capabilities. This is a leadership role at the intersection of consulting, technology, innovation, and strategic alliances and you will bring deep expertise in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Mosaic AI, data engineering, machine learning, GenAI and cloud-native delivery.
As a key leader within our AI & Data Practice, you will work closely with Databricks, client executives, and sector teams to develop market-leading propositions, shape strategic opportunities, build high-performing teams, and deliver transformative data and AI programs powered by Databricks.
The opportunity Clients increasingly need to modernise fragmented data estates, industrialise AI, build trusted data products and operationalise GenAI at scale. As a Senior Manager, you will help clients use Databricks to:
- Build modern lakehouse architectures ready for AI
- Industrialise data engineering and ML pipelines.
- Build governed data products.
- Deliver AI solutions that improve decision-making across business workflows.
This is a role for someone who can work from boardroom to engineering squad — shaping the business case, designing the solution and leading delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory & Solution Shaping: Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to identify business problems and value pools, translate business needs into Databricks-led solution designs, build prototypes and proof points. Shape end-to-end solutions using Databricks Intelligence Platform, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, Delta Live Tables / Lakeflow-style pipelines, MLflow, Feature Store, Model Serving and Mosaic AI capabilities.
- Team Leadership & Delivery: Build, lead, upskill and mentor a high-performing team of Databricks engineers, and consultants. Land into a client environment, decode the business pain, build a prototype or solution narrative, align stakeholders, create a commercial case, and then mobilise delivery with a team of Databricks trained experts. Ensure successful delivery of complex Databricks led transformations, including: Data Platform Modernisation, Data Products, AI solutions, Data Governance and Operating Models. Provide oversight for solution governance, architecture reviews, and key design decisions.
- Alliance Leadership: Work closely with Databricks alliance leadership to identify and execute joint go‑to‑market opportunities. Collaborate on co‑selling opportunities, innovation workshops, industry campaigns, and executive events. Act as an ambassador for the firm's AI & Data capabilities across the Databricks ecosystem.
- Sales & Growth: Work closely with account leaders, sector leaders, and other practice leaders to develop a strong Databricks opportunity pipeline. Develop differentiated propositions that combine deep industry expertise with Databricks technology capabilities and contribute directly to revenue growth and sales targets across AI & Data services.

- Translate business challenges into practical, scalable Databricks-powered solutions.
- Increase joint pipeline, co‑sell activity, and strategic engagement with Databricks.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Extensive experience in consulting, technology advisory, or data transformation roles.
- Advanced level certifications in Databricks Partner Champion certifications.
- Deep expertise across the Databricks ecosystem - Databricks Intelligence Platform, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, Delta Live Tables / Lakeflow‑style pipelines, MLflow, Feature Store, Model Serving and Mosaic AI capabilities, Genie etc.
- Proven track record of shaping and delivering large-scale data and technology transformation programmes.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, consultants, and delivery professionals.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Commercial mindset with experience supporting sales, pipeline development, and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
Desirable:
- Experience working directly with Databricks account teams and alliance organisations.
- Experience in industry‑led digital transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, and enterprise adoption frameworks.
