Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fieldwork and keep engagement managers informed on audit progress.
  • Provide accurate reporting on financial statements, offering valuable insights into accounting and reporting matters.
  • Execute audit processes and document higher‑risk areas to enhance your technical and business acumen.
  • Engage with clients, delivering authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions.
  • Continuously develop your understanding of current market trends to stay ahead.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • Proven experience in delivering and reporting on external audits.
  • Experience in UK Government & UK Public Sector.
  • Full qualification as a chartered accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA, ICAS, ICAEW) or an international equivalent.
  • Exposure to non‑financial services industries.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Knowledge of current market issues in the UK.
  • Familiarity with SOX 404 and application of UK GAAP and IFRS.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
