Role purpose
Join a delivery squad building real AI‑powered solutions for leading FS clients. You’ll translate business challenges into user stories, implement early features (e.g., LLM/RAG), and learn how to deliver secure, reliable solutions in enterprise settings. Your journey starts with an Applied AI Engineering Academy combining hands‑on learning, hackathons and real project exposure.
What you’ll do
- Client‑facing delivery: Support discovery workshops; convert needs into user stories and acceptance criteria; contribute to demos and feedback cycles.
- Solution design & implementation: Build LLM/RAG features and integrations under guidance; write clean, tested, documented code; follow EY reference architectures and security patterns.
- Product mindset & continuous improvement: Contribute to documentation, reusable accelerators and squad playbooks informed by field lessons.
What we’re looking for
- Essential: Software fundamentals (Python/TypeScript, APIs, microservices, testing, Git). LLM/RAG basics (embeddings, prompts, retrieval) and an eagerness to learn evaluation/guardrails. Cloud fundamentals (Azure preferred), Docker, CI/CD exposure. Clear communication, client readiness and a growth mindset.
- Nice to have: ML fundamentals; PyTorch/TensorFlow; Databricks; streaming patterns.
Travel & working model: Hybrid with periodic client travel across the UK (and occasional international travel as needed).
