We are looking for paralegals to support our legal and company secretarial team in Belfast (12-month fixed term contract).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our lawyers and company secretaries in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.
  • Engage with technology and international teams to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Carry out day to day administrative tasks, including in respect of our client engagement processes and billing.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Work alongside senior team members on various projects, including corporate restructuring and compliance initiatives.
  • Conduct legal research and gather, collate and review data and documentation.
  • Produce initial drafts of legal documentation.
  • Assist with project management, including liaising across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support the team in the development of the practice including drafting, amending and updating legal precedents, know-how and internal / external marketing materials.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Previous experience within the company secretarial or legal sector preferred.
  • Aspiration to pursue CGI qualification or training contract, or currently working towards it.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills together with proven resourcefulness and initiative.
