We are expanding the TMT team at EY‑Parthenon and invite a highly motivated professional to join our Financial Diligence practice. In this role you will work on a range of high‑profile transactions for leading corporate and private equity clients, leveraging EY’s full spectrum of services to deliver actionable insights and value to our clients.

Overview

The core of the role is to perform due diligence on target companies, assessing financial statements, business projections, risks and opportunities. You will develop relationships with client stakeholders, influence key decisions, and contribute to the broader EY strategy of combining transformative strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance with AI‑powered technology.

Your key responsibilities

  • Understand the revenue, profitability drivers and equity story of target businesses.
  • Plan engagements, define scopes and monitor team progress with sector expertise.
  • Share technical knowledge and mentor junior team members.
  • Act as a trusted business advisor, establishing yourself as a primary client contact.
  • Build internal and external networks and identify opportunities to sell additional EY services.
  • Participate in business‑plan initiatives such as key account management, recruitment, and client service frameworks.
  • Take ownership of personal learning and development, coaching others, and providing upward feedback.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience and enthusiasm for the TMT sector, ideally with a sub‑sector specialisation.

Qualifications

  • Extensive TMT sector knowledge and accounting experience.

  • Preferred ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong commercial acumen and/or relevant industry or transaction experience, including financial due diligence.
  • A passion for delivering high‑quality service to clients.
