Our Financial Services Indirect Tax (VAT) team is expanding and we seek a strong VAT tax professional to lead projects, build client relationships, and contribute to the team’s strategic growth.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage and sustain effective teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery of work.
- Build strong client relationships and create Go‑to‑Market momentum.
- Oversee day‑to‑day project management, coaching, mentoring, and staff development.
- Assist in people initiatives, including training and retention of international tax professionals.
- Lead strategy and operations for the team, managing junior staff development and assignment.

- Build and maintain long‑standing client relationships with exceptional service levels.
- Negotiate, gain buy‑in and handle challenges effectively.
- Identify and convert opportunities through proactive client relationship management.

Ideally you’ll also have
- Appropriate experience within Financial Services.
- Project management skills: plan, prioritise work, meet deadlines, monitor budget.
- ACA/ACCA/CA or comparable qualification; or Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training; or Law qualification (or breadth of knowledge and experience equivalent to CTA).
