The Opportunity

Your Key Responsibilities
- Delivering exceptional client service while building key client relationships.
- Collaborating effectively within a diverse team of tax technical, technology and transformation experts to develop and implement innovative, cutting-edge solutions.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients, often sourcing input from and coordinating the global EY network.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities by leveraging insights gained from previous projects to enhance current engagements and proposals.
- Building your own strong client and internal relationships – develop and use your relationship skills to create your own external and internal networks in the Banking, Insurance or Wealth and Asset Management markets.
- Counsel and support junior staff through effective delegation and on the job training.
Skills and Attributes For Success
What We Look For
- A bright, enthusiastic and ambitious individual with a strong desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced Operational tax practice.
- Tax technical experience in areas such as withholding and capital gains taxes, FATCA/CRS, QI, DAC7, DAC8 and/or emerging tax initiatives like FASTER, MiKaDiv etc.
- Sector (banking and or wealth & asset management) and product knowledge.
- An outgoing personality with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A results-driven mindset, eager to take on responsibility and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Adaptability and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with tax technology teams.
To Qualify for this role, you must have;
- ACA / CA / Law Qualification or equivalent.
- Operational tax experience and strong tax technical skills.
- Experience of working in financial services and with industry bodies.
Ideally, you will also possess:
- A proactive, self-starting attitude, strong project management skills, and the ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage your own budget.
- A solid understanding of financial services markets.
