Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fieldwork and keep engagement managers informed on audit progress.
  • Provide accurate reporting on financial statements, offering valuable insights into accounting and reporting matters.
  • Execute audit processes and document higher-risk areas to enhance your technical and business acumen.
  • Engage with clients, delivering authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

  • Proven experience in delivering and reporting on external audits.
  • Experience in UK Government & UK Public Sector.
  • Full qualification as a chartered accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA, ICAS, ICAEW) or an international equivalent.
  • Exposure to non-financial services industries.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Knowledge of current market issues in the UK.
  • Familiarity with SOX 404 and application of UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Project management or team supervisory experience.
  • The flexibility to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
