The Financial Diligence team at EY-Parthenon has exciting opportunities. You'll work with a high-performing, integrated team which focuses on a variety of high-profile IPOs and transactions. The opportunity at EY-Parthenon involves our unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance delivering real-world value – solutions that work in practice, not just on paper. Our core work is due diligence, assessing a target company’s finances and business projections, identifying opportunities, risks, sensitivities and potential mitigations, and reporting on these to our clients, their banks, investors and other parties. You will be working alongside experienced due diligence professionals, where you will continue to develop your skills to perform due diligence in a range of situations and sectors. There is the opportunity for travel, both within the UK and potentially internationally.
Your Key Responsibilities include:
- Understanding the key business drivers and co-developing our approach with the client.
- Agreeing value measurements with the client and providing value through insights, factual conclusions and advice.
- Project managing teams and forming strong internal links within Financial Diligence and other departments in EY.
- Gathering, verifying and assessing information to formulate views.
- Planning, preparing and reviewing deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with the client.
- Building on and developing internal and external networks through personal contacts.
- Playing a role in business plan initiatives (e.g. key accounts, recruitment, client service framework).
- Being a true business advisor to the client and establishing yourself as a key client contact.
- Taking responsibility for own learning and development, providing coaching/support to others, and participating in upward feedback.
Skills And Attributes For Success:
- Ability to gather, verify and analyse information to formulate views/conclusions.
- Demonstrable experience in planning, preparing and reviewing deliverables.
- Experience in Business Development.
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry or transaction experience (including financial due diligence experience).
- A passion to provide high quality service to your clients.
