Overview
In this role you will support EY's tax service line, providing Jersey and UK tax compliance and advisory services to a varied client base. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet filing deadlines and deliver high-quality work. You will supervise and assist junior staff with tax returns, and collaborate with the audit team on tax audits. This position offers opportunities to deepen tax expertise while growing client relationships and contributing to EY’s service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Jersey and UK tax compliance and advisory services to a mixed client portfolio
- Ensure all tax filing deadlines are met
- Assist and supervise junior staff in preparing tax returns and related tasks
- Collaborate with the audit service line on tax audits
Key requirements
- Experience in a tax compliance position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders
- Good risk awareness and the ability to think strategically
- Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with financial systems
- Excellent organizational abilities to prioritize tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
