As a Senior Consultant in our Data Management and Strategy team, you will play a critical role in helping our Financial Services clients leverage data as a strategic asset. You will work with cross-functional teams, often on a global basis, to develop and implement data management frameworks, strategies, and solutions that reduce data risk, drive business value and enhance decision-making capabilities.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating within client facing delivery teams on complex data transformation programs in Financial Services.
- Assisting clients in executing their AI & Data strategy through deployment of modern Data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Developing and implementing data management artifacts by establishing data governance requirements.
- Contributing to the development of innovative ey.ai data solutions and methodologies.
- Representing EY at industry events and networks.
- Supporting RFP responses and contributing to thought leadership articles.
We’re looking for people with a passion for the delivery of AI and Data management solutions that deliver positive outcomes for customers, regulators and shareholders. You should excel in problem solving, enjoy teamwork, and communicate complex ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
To qualify for the role, you must have some or all of the following:
- Demonstratable interest and awareness in Data, AI & emerging associated technologies.
- Good problem solving, teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience in Financial Services working with AI or Data delivery.
- Understanding of technology trends and implications on Financial Services firms.
- Ability to articulate the challenges faced in large data transformation.
- Some hands-on coding experience with SQL, Python or Scala would be advantageous.
- Relevant experience in Data Platform Technologies would be beneficial.
