b Overview /b p In this role you will help clients transform indirect tax through data-enabled solutions and Microsoft tech. You’ll work within EY’s Indirect Tax Transformation team in London, focusing on data services, analytics, and AI-enabled tax management. You will engage with multinational clients to optimise VAT processes, data governance, and ERP-related tax controls. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technology, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to shape tax delivery at scale. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Flexible working /li li Career development and training /li li FlexEY benefits package /li li Holidays and health insurance options /li li Savings and discounts /li li Global mobility and client exposure /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Engage with clients to scope and deliver data-driven indirect tax solutions /li li Lead or contribute to data analytics and process automation projects for tax use cases /li li Assess client data using analytics tools and implement future-proof tax data solutions /li li Advise on ERP VAT optimisation, controls, and data governance in a digital tax landscape /li li Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior colleagues to drive project delivery /li li Support AI journeys to improve risk management and reduce cash leakage /li li Translate tax requirements into technical designs for analysts and developers /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience with data analytics and/or bespoke automation projects (tax/finance preferred) /li li Ability to lead or support process automation initiatives including requirements, design, and reviews /li li Practical, independent problem-solving mindset and solution design capability /li li Ability to communicate complex requirements to tech and business stakeholders /li li Experience with at least one of: Python Pandas, Azure Databricks, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform (PowerAutomate PowerBI) /li li Strong delivery culture with attention to detail /li li Ability to work in teams and manage project workstreams /li li Working knowledge of EU VAT and related tax principles (preferable) /li /ul ul li Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) /li li Team collaboration and coaching mindset /li li Customer-centricity and service orientation /li li Python Pandas /li li Azure Databricks /li li Alteryx /li /ul
