b Overview /b p In this Manager role, you lead financial due diligence for financial services transactions, driving analysis and commercial insight across Banking Capital Markets, Insurance, and Asset Management. You work in multidisciplinary teams to assess opportunities, risks and value drivers throughout deals, delivering high-quality client deliverables and shaping transaction outcomes. You’ll collaborate across service lines, coach juniors, and contribute to business development. This is a chance to influence significant transactions within EY’s Financial Services practice in Edinburgh. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead day-to-day execution of financial due diligence engagements /li li Manage project plans, deliverables and timelines across multiple engagements /li li Analyze financial and operational information to identify key findings, risks and opportunities /li li Prepare and review client deliverables including reports, presentations and stakeholder discussions /li li Support clients in understanding transaction implications with commercially focused recommendations /li li Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted contact throughout engagements /li li Collaborate with Strategy and Transactions, Tax, Valuations and other service lines /li li Coach and develop junior team members, providing regular feedback and on-the-job support /li li Contribute to business development, client relationships and recruitment activities /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification /li li Experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Services or a related advisory environment /li li Financial Services sector experience (Banking Capital Markets, Insurance or Asset Management) /li li Strong commercial awareness and understanding of transaction processes /li li Commitment to delivering exceptional client service /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities /li li Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines /li li Strong communication and stakeholder management skills /li li Experience reviewing and presenting findings to internal and external audiences /li li Collaborative approach and commitment to team development /li /ul ul li analytical thinking /li li problem-solving /li li communication /li li financial analysis /li li due diligence /li li transaction services /li /ul
