Our Private Tax team works with a broad range of entrepreneurial, owner-managed, PE-backed, and AIM-listed businesses, as well as their shareholders, family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, private equity clients, and professional partnerships.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis.
Your key responsibilities Build and maintain strong client relationships Drive business development and identify new opportunities Manage the delivery of complex and demanding compliance and tax advisory projects Ensure technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members Contribute to team initiatives, including training, retention, and development Skills and attributes for success What we look for Proven relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal)Confident negotiator, able to articulate and defend opinions effectively Demonstrated business development experience Strong time management and ability to perform under pressure Project management skills with a focus on delivery and budget control Excellent tax technical expertise where you will oversee the preparation and review of complex tax compliance workstreams, providing technical guidance and ensuring quality across all deliverables Experience advising a range of Funds clients ACA/CTA qualification (with full technical training) or equivalent tax specialist qualification CCH or similar experience What we offer you At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
