Overview

As a Data Analytics Manager in EY’s Health Practice, you drive end-to-end health data initiatives and ensure data accuracy and compliance. You’ll work with NHS datasets and cross-functional teams to deliver analytics-led transformation that improves productivity and reduces costs. You translate healthcare needs into AI-enabled analytics solutions and guide data governance across projects. This role offers opportunities to shape health data strategy and advance digital health initiatives within a global consulting context.

Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare consulting projects applying AI, automation, and advanced analytics to drive transformation
  • Collaborate with clients to tailor analytics solutions addressing operational, clinical, and strategic needs
  • Design and deploy data analytics, reporting, and automation, integrating AI technologies
  • Analyze healthcare systems and data to identify data-driven improvement opportunities
  • Engage with NHS stakeholders and partners to co-design data solutions
  • Facilitate workshops to promote data literacy and standard practices
  • Liaise between technical teams and clinicians to ensure practical and safe solutions
  • Mentor junior consultants and develop AI and health data literacy
  • Stay updated on healthcare trends, regulations, and AI tech to inform recommendations
  • Support business development and bids with data, analytics, and healthcare expertise

Key requirements

  • Proven experience delivering data-driven transformation projects in healthcare (NHS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of UK healthcare systems, policies, and operational challenges
  • Hands-on data management, integration, data quality, and data governance experience
  • Experience analyzing large-scale operational, clinical, and financial healthcare datasets (SUS, SLAM, HES, ESR)
  • Experience in complex analytics engagements (financial/operational improvement, insights, demand and capacity, modelling)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
  • Project and team management experience with health sector clients
  • Knowledge of applying prescriptive/predictive analytics in healthcare
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
