Overview
In this Director role, you lead cyber resilience programs and shape senior client engagements in EY’s Cybersecurity Consulting Practice. You guide complex resilience initiatives, translating threat insights into practical improvements and embedding cyber into broader enterprise resilience. You’ll work with C-suite peers to secure buy-in, drive outcomes, and grow a cyber resilience offering. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cyber resilience transformation programmes with scope, quality, timeline and budget ownership
- Design and run cyber crisis simulations and tabletop exercises for executives and operations
- Facilitate high-pressure decision making as crisis conductor and drive actionable outcomes
- Translate threat intelligence into practical resilience improvements linked to business impact
- Embed cyber within wider enterprise resilience plans (BCP, ITDR, operational resilience, third‑party resilience)
- Collaborate with C-suite and functional leaders to strengthen readiness and cross-functional coordination during incidents
- Develop capability roadmaps and investment cases for resilience (people/process/technology)
- Shape and grow the cyber resilience offering through proposals, market materials and thought leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing cyber resilience team
Key requirements
- Proven experience leading cyber resilience, incident readiness, and/or crisis management programmes with measurable improvements
- Strong track record in designing and facilitating cyber crisis simulations for senior stakeholders
- Experience building or enhancing incident response and recovery operating models
- Ability to embed cyber into wider business resilience frameworks and align to critical services
- Ability to develop investment cases and prioritised roadmaps for resilience uplift
- Robust knowledge of security and resilience frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, NIS/NIS2) and translating to implementable capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management across C-suite, technology, operations, legal, risk, and communications
- Exceptional facilitation and communication with senior audiences
- Ambiguity tolerance and resilience under time pressure
- Strategic problem solving and executive alignment
- Cyber crisis simulations and tabletop exercise design
- Threat intelligence interpretation and translating to resilience improvements
- Incident response and recovery governance, processes, playbooks, and communications
