b Overview /b p In this role, you will defend EY in civil litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters, guiding risk management and legal strategy across cross-border issues. You will collaborate with partners, manage outside counsel, and shape responses to subpoenas and investigations. This is a chance to influence EY’s risk posture and support strategic business objectives on a global scale. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li flexible environment /li li diverse and inclusive culture /li li world-class experiences /li li supportive leadership /li li opportunity to influence global policy /li li focus on professional development /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage litigation, enforcement matters, investigations, and internal inquiries /li li Advise on cross-border issues with potential financial or reputational impact /li li Coordinate regulatory responses and preservation efforts /li li Provide guidance on professional responsibility, conflicts, document retention, and disclosures /li li Develop defense strategies and liaise with stakeholders and outside counsel /li li Oversee outside counsel spend and effectiveness /li li Interview expert witnesses and prepare documents and witnesses for testimony /li li Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations /li li Contribute to EY policy positions on legal issues /li li Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, and discovery requests /li li Advise on compliance with laws and firm policies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant litigation experience including trial work /li li Strong analytical ability to synthesize facts and law /li li Knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to EY and its industry /li li Excellent verbal and written communication; diplomatic interface with leadership /li li Proven project planning and ability to meet multiple deadlines /li li Excellent interpersonal skills to manage outside counsel /li li Bachelor’s degree; top of class preferred /li li Law degree from a top law school; top of class preferred /li li Active attorney license to practice in the location of the EY office /li li 6+ years of experience as a practicing attorney /li /ul ul li strong negotiation and communication /li li cultural awareness /li li emotional intelligence /li li litigation strategy /li li regulatory compliance /li li discovery and document management /li /ul
