Overview
In this role you shape and deliver financial due diligence for a range of high-profile IPOs and transactions within EY's UK Financial Services Transaction Diligence team. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to assess target finances, identify risks and opportunities, and present actionable insights to clients and banks. You’ll lead project workstreams, mentor junior staff, and expand client relationships as a trusted adviser. This role offers exposure to diverse sectors (Insurance, Banking & Capital Markets, Asset Management) and potential international collaboration, with travel as needed.

Responsibilities
- Understand key business drivers and co-develop client approach and value measurements
- Project manage teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary collaboration across EY networks
- Gather, verify and assess information to form views; plan and review deliverables (reports, presentations, discussions)
- Share knowledge with the team and develop internal/external networks
- Identify opportunities to sell additional services to clients
- Contribute to business plan initiatives and act as a true client advisor
- Commit to personal learning, coach others, and provide upward feedback
Key requirements
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Strong commercial or transaction experience, including financial due diligence
- Financial services exposure across Insurance, Banking & Capital Markets and Asset Management
- Passion for high-quality client service
