Overview
In Belfast, you will join EY's UK Independence Team to support Partners and colleagues in applying independence policies to personal investments and relationships. You will analyze holdings, support independence confirmations, and help regulatory reviews while collaborating with London colleagues. The role combines risk management, compliance, and training to build a stronger, more trusted firm. This expansion presents an opportunity to shape the UK Personal Independence function.

Responsibilities
- Providing advice and guidance on Independence for personal financial investments and relationships
- Analyzing individuals’ holdings and relationships to determine independence status under internal policy and external regulations
- Assisting with key processes and assessing Independence impact of relationships with EY audit clients
- Supporting Annual and Quarterly Independence Confirmation processes
- Supporting senior members during internal and external regulatory reviews and inspections
- Collaborating with the London-based Personal Independence team
- Assisting with training of new joiners on Personal Independence systems and processes
- Acting as a role-model for Associates in the team

- Experience in a Risk Management environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver to all levels of EY
