Overview
In this Executive, Valuations role, you will contribute to EY’s Isle of Ireland valuations practice by delivering valuation services for PE-backed and VC-backed clients. You will work within a Belfast team that collaborates with Dublin and Cork colleagues, focusing on quantitative valuation work and client delivery. You’ll develop models, analyse market data, and present findings to clients while supporting senior staff. Responsibilities
- Carry out valuations, modelling and pricing
- Develop solutions for external and internal clients using quantitative models
- Collect and analyse financial market data and time series
- Review complex quantitative models developed by clients or third parties
- Present results to clients and prepare supporting reports
- Assist senior consulting staff with analytics
- Manage work within budgets and timelines and update the assignment manager on progress
Key requirements
- Proven valuation experience, ideally from a consultancy environment
- Understanding of the capital structure of PE-backed and VC-backed companies
- Strong modelling skills and numeracy
- Strong interpersonal and client-focused attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a transaction-related environment with tight deadlines
