We areseekinga skilled and safety-conscious Thermal Insulation Engineer to join our HVAC team. You willbe responsible forinstalling,maintaining, and repairing thermal insulation on mechanical services systems (e.g. pipework, ductwork, )to meet energy efficiency standards and building regulations.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Install thermal insulation on HVAC systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all work meets current UK standards
- Operate tools and equipment safely, adhering to site-specific and HSE safety regulations.
- Complete documentation, including insulation records, material logs, and compliance reports.
- Liaise with other engineers, contractors, and site management teams to coordinate work efficiently.
Show your expertise
- Experience in HVAC or mechanical insulation installation
- Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations, including PPE and manual handling.
- Good communicationand teamwork skills.
- NVQ Level 3in Thermal Insulation
- GoldCSCS Card
- IPAF / PASMA certification (for working at height)
