Joining the manufacturing team & reporting to production supervisors. This role is Fabricating & Welding safety critical HVAC & specialist products. This role requires a combination of technical expertise & precision across various product types/materials.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Carry out all duties in accordance with weekly plans.
  • Carry out pre-assembly tasks (Prep) on all machinery associated with the manufacture of
    HVAC products.
  • Perform sheet metal tasks on both stainless steel & carbon steel HVAC products ranging
    from 0.8mm to 10mm.
  • Complete all sheet metal duties associated with all product types in accordance with work
    instruction and project specifications.
  • Perform tack welding tasks during manufacture.
  • Perform welding tasks on both stainless steel & carbon steel HVAC products ranging from
    0.8mm to 10mm.
  • Complete all welding duties associated with all product types (Folded & Welded) in accordance
    with welding procedures.
  • Complete weld repair activities in accordance with welding procedures.
  • Understand & comply with associated welding standards.
  • Comply in full with manufacturing SHEQ best practice/ behaviours and legislation.
  • Support the manufacturing team in achieving deliverables.

Show your expertise

  • Time Served Welder/Coded Welder
  • Time Served Sheet Metal worker/Fabricator (NVQ/ Sitting & Guilds etc)
  • Experience in highly regulated nuclear application would be beneficial but not essential.
