The Europe LNG Terminal Coordinator role sits within our European Gas and Power Trading Team, part of ExxonMobil’s Global Trading Organization, and is responsible for managing the operational aspects of our European LNG regasification assets. The role engages with external counterparties in multiple countries, as well as a broad range of teams within ExxonMobil (Gas Traders, LNG Traders, and our Upstream LNG organization). Primarily the role is responsible for ExxonMobil’s LNG berthings in Europe, an area expected to grow materially over the next 5 years. In addition, the role is also responsible for commercially optimizing our regasification positions (inventory management, send-out deferrals, optimizations, etc.).
What you will do:
- Lead interface role between Europe Gas Trading and Global LNG Trading operational groups.
- Managing terminal nominations, import duties and customs for all cargos.
- Monitoring of weather and forecasting of berthing conditions.
- Lead optimization of existing regasification assets (cargo management, slot size, send-out flexibility, downstream grid capacity, etc.), working directly with traders to hedge price exposures.
- Lead operational contact for new European LNG terminal opportunities.
About you:
- Minimum Bachelor’s level Degree or equivalent.
- Proficient knowledge and relevant work experience in this area of business.
- Knowledge of physical commodities trading and financial markets.
- A strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate, collaborate and work effectively with an international team environment.
- Non-English language skills are not essential but desirable (Italian, French, Spanish, German).
