Biologist - Internship

Location: Bali, Indonesia (On-site only)

Role Overview

Join our SERAPH project in duckweed cultivation, in Bali! We are looking for interns to help us grow this project and conduct more experiments. This role is essential for our long-term R&D strategy, as you will be optimizing duckweed growth conditions and yield. This role offers significant international exposure, as you will be working with a diverse team on projects with a global footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize growth conditions and yield for duckweed
• Design and validate biological experiments
• Link biology to scalable production
• Experiment with different growing conditions
• Test and validate biological production processes
• Work closely with the production team to scale findings

Aquatic Plants Passion: Deep enthusiasm for sustainable farming practices, with a focus on aquatic plants. You have a drive to contribute to scalable agricultural solutions.

Interest in AI & Optimization: A keen interest in applying AI techniques to enhance agricultural processes and drive innovation.

(Basic) Technical Competency: Comfortable working with digital simulations and related software, for accurate modeling and system analysis.

Lab Collaboration: Thrives in a collaborative lab environment, partnering effectively with others to achieve shared research goals.

Cross-Functional Communication: You facilitate a smooth exchange of data and insights across teams and departments.

Team-oriented: You enjoy working in a team setting and are energized by interaction.

Prior Research/Lab Experience (a huge plus!): You bring practical knowledge that supports experimental setups and analysis.
