About the Department
The Creative Sync team’s role is to bring the Extreme Music catalogue to the attention of new and existing clients, increasing both revenue and usage of Extreme Music across all forms of media including film, TV, advertising, games, promos, trailers, online, documentary and corporate.
About the Role
The Junior Creative Sync will join the short form team, where they will be responsible for managing a number of key accounts which may include broadcasters, production companies, trailer houses and music supervisors. The Junior Creative Sync will develop and maintain existing relationships as well as generate new business leads. This will involve keeping to set KPI’s for client outreach, including phone calls, emails, pitch meetings and attending client and industry events. Please note some events will occur out of regular office hours to help grow our UK business. The role also involves providing clients with quotes, licenses and music supervision. The Junior Creative Sync will also provide general support to the rest of the short form sync team.
What You’ll Do: (job responsibilities)
- Music supervision; respond to client music briefs and create bespoke playlists in a timely manner via Live Chat, email and in-bound and out-bound phone calls
- Account management; build and maintain existing client relationships and increase revenue by frequent telephone calls, emails and in person visits. Including demonstrating the Extreme website and pitching the catalogue.
- New Business; researching potential new music users; analysing user data and industry press to identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Meet set targets for client contact; Including client visits and phone calls
- Use our CRM database to record all client activity
- Advise clients on MCPS licensing
- Become familiar with the Extreme Music catalogue and keep up to date with all new releases
- Participate in the planning, coordinating and execution of client events
- Provide feedback to A&R team suggesting ideas for new releases based on production trends and client requests
- Attend client and industry events as required (including some evenings)

Essential requirements
- Some experience working within music/ media industry
- Exceptional customer service skills and previous experience in a client facing role
- A keen interest in music synchronisation and Production Music within Film & TV licensing
- Passionate & knowledgeable on a wide variety of musical genres
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong work ethic
- Team Player – able to work well with and manage relationships with others
- Confident self-starter
Desirable requirements
- Knowledge of MCPS including its rate card and licensing system
- Experience working in a music supervisor role
- Experience using a CRM database
